April Boin Choi is a Ph.D. candidate in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research interests lie in behavioral and brain development in infants at risk for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and early interventions that can promote positive long-term outcomes in children with or at risk for ASD. She conducts her research at the Laboratories of Cognitive Neuroscience at Boston Children's Hospital, under the mentorship of Dr. Charles A. Nelson. April received a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Cornell University, and an Ed.M. in Mind, Brain, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
