RNA granules in Human stem and progenitor cell during blood formation

RNA granules and RNA shuttling during blood development and disorders

My future goal is to explore the fundamental biology of regeneration, the process by which tissues restore structure and function after injury or stress. I aim to uncover how cells reprogram their gene expression and protein production to meet the high demands of repair, and why these processes fail in disease or aging. By integrating cutting-edge imaging, molecular tools, and functional assays, we will reveal the regulatory mechanisms that enable cells to switch from a protective state to an active regenerative state. My ultimate goal is to harness these insights to design strategies that enhance the body’s innate capacity to regenerate, offering new therapeutic possibilities across diverse tissues and disorders.
