Giovanna Sabino was selected to present her work at the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) Annual Meeting 2025 in Los Angeles, CA. The study was conducted under Dr. Tamilia's guidance and is entitled “Overnight Fast Ripple Mapping using Stereo EEG Prior to Epilepsy Surgery in Children,” . Her abstract was selected for an oral presentation in the Pediatric Sunrise Session, highlighting the clinical and translational impact of the lab’s ongoing work on advanced SEEG biomarkers and surgical planning in pediatric epilepsy.
Presenting our work at the CNS Annual Meeting was a truly meaningful milestone in my academic journey. It was an incredible opportunity to share our findings with leading experts in neurosurgery and pediatric epilepsy, and it strengthened my passion for academic neurosurgery and for research that can improve the lives of children with epilepsy.
