Fernanda is a 4th-year Computer Science and Technology student at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Sonora, México. Her main interests include data science and analysis, backend development and database design. In México she also worked in computational biology and in image analysis using computational algorithms and models.
Fernanda joined Dr. Tamilia's lab in August 2025, where she is spending 6 months working on projects related to data science and machine learning applications for epilepsy outcome prediction through a mix of EEG and clinical variables across various datasets. She is also working on developing or optimizing data visualization tools.
